Do you like watching short films?
You should!
Because short films these days have really amazing content and beautiful visuals. And they have a great impact on you in a very short time.
I am an avid lover of short films. I watch a lot of them. Some are okay and some are really good; a few of them are amazing.
But the short film I am going to talk about, today, is SPECTACULAR! I saw this short film just an hour ago and I couldn’t resist but share it with you guys!
It’s called AMA – a short film by Julie Gautier. And here’s the video:
Ama is a breathtakingly beautiful short film that shows pain and life very gracefully. The whole short film has just one character. It is a silent film. It tells a story everyone can interpret in their own way, based on their own experience. There are no impositions, only suggestions.
The director Julie Gautier says:
I wanted to share my biggest pain in this life with this film. For this is not too crude, I covered it with grace. To make it not too heavy, I plunged it into the water. I dedicate this film to all the women of the world.
